Presented below are the dates and times of the tropical zodiac signs and solar
terms of Year 1997. Tropical zodiac system is the most popular
system used in the western astrology. While astrological zodiac bears
resemblance to yet different from its astronomical constellation pair, it is
closely related to the solar term (jié qì / 節氣) which is part of the
traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar system.
My Youtube video
explains the relationships between astrological zodiac, astronomical
constellations, ecliptic and solar terms.
Due to the limitation of Windows, the detected timezone might be wrong.
Use `Asia/Hong_Kong` for Hong Kong. `Asia/Taipei` for Taiwan. `UTC` for UTC.

Note
The date is in YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format
The data is presented in local time of the selected timezone, with the
daylight saving time rule of the time applied.
It's utterly important to select the correct timezone when looking up past
data
Although DST is not used in the greater China today, it was a thing in
eariler days. Hong Kong has employed DST from 1949 to 1979. China were in a
few timezones (similar to US) instead of unified to UTC+8 in early days.
US DST rules were changed for a few times throughout the century. The last
change was made in 2007.
The seasons of the equinoxess and solstices are named so assuming
observation from the Northern hemisphere, since the solar terms were an
Chinese invention.
The seasons in the Southern hemisphere are the opposite.
Due to the differences of astronomical observation data, introduction of UTC
leap second, the data might have error up to a minute when compared to the
other sources.
The data is computed with the ERFA library. The computation program could be
found on the github repo.
